| Vipassana courses are held regularly at permanent centres
and rented sites in different countries. In addition to frequent ten-day
courses, special courses and long courses of 20, 30, and 45 days are
periodically offered for advanced students. Short children's courses
in Anapana, the introductory part of the Vipassana techniques, are
regularly offered in India. The courses last for one to three days
and serve children in two age groups; eight to eleven and twelve to
fifteen. All courses throughout the world are run solely on the basis of freely-offered donations. There is no fee charged, the courses are financed totally by donations from studnets who have completed a prior course and wish to share the hcnel'ils they themselves received by giving donation for the students who come after them. Neither the Teacher nor the assistant teachers receive remuneration; they and those who serve the courses volunteer their lime. This practice is consistent with the pure tradition, whereby the teaching is to be offered freely. free from any taint of commercialism, and supported by donations stemming from the wholesome volitions of gratitude and generosity. |
| This Center provides special arrangements for school students. Meditation course can be arranged in the school or the students can come and meditate in the centre. Duration for the above facility is April - October. |
| Old Students are provided the facility of meditating
daily from 6.00 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. The enquiry of 3 days course for the old students can be done in the 1st week of the month. |
| The enquiry of one day course can be done on 1st Sunday of the month. |
